Nikon Picture Control: Image Creation System
| January 21, 2012 | Posted by admin under Software |
Available on many Nikon digital camearas – including the new Advanced Cameras with interchangeable Lenses, the Nikon 1 J1 and V1 – Nikon Picture Control allows you to customize the appearance of photos before you shoot.
Six preset settings (standard, neutral, vivid, monochrome, portrait and landscape) let you change the look of photos depending on mood or subject, saving you post-capture processing time.
Each setting also can be adjusted to provide additional control over sharpness, contrast and other effects. Yuo even can create and save your own custom Picture Control settings.

Exposure: From Snapshots to Great Shots
With Exposure: From Snapshots to Great Shots, popular photographer Jeff Revell starts with the basics of light, including how it works, and how to see it. In order to leverage this new understanding of light in your photography, Jeff walks the reader through one of the most important photographic principles – the exposure triangle: ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture. Learning to apply these three elements together is the gateway to both technical and creative control of your photography.
